There’s no shortage of community service opportunities at Trinity Presbyterian Clearwater. We believe that providing service to the community around us is vital to our mission of inspiring lives by loving God with all our Soul, Mind, and Heart, and our neighbors as ourselves. But we also recognize that organizing volunteer service events provides people in Clearwater, Florida, and the surrounding area the opportunity to plug into the community, recharge their sense of purpose and meaning, and connect with God.

When you join us in one or more of our community service efforts, you’ll discover a caring, inclusive, and affirming congregation that’s more focused on building relationships with our neighbors than on adhering to a specific spiritual doctrine. Whether you’d like to spend time helping the homeless, feeding the hungry, or making sure that children have the clothes and supplies they need for school, you’ll be welcome to join in one of the community service programs at Trinity Clearwater.

Here are a few of the volunteer efforts we participate in:

  • Clothes to Kids – This program provides new and gently used clothing to schoolchildren in need throughout Pinellas County. Volunteers from our church work in the Clothes to Kids “store” at two locations, and we’re always in need of cash and clothing donations.
  • Support for Skycrest Elementary School – Volunteers assist teachers in the classrooms at this Clearwater, FL, school, where the vast majority of children come from low-income families. We also conduct a school supply drive every summer and provide funding for field trips.
  • Trinity Friends of Hope – Twice a month, volunteers from our church prepare and serve breakfast to the homeless at a shelter operated by Pinellas Hope.
