Indeed, our volunteer service programs target the needs of some of the most vulnerable people in the Clearwater, FL, area, especially children. We also recognize the need for people of faith to live out their beliefs by joining in group efforts to help everyone experience God’s love. That’s why you’ll find a wide variety of ways to find meaning and purpose through volunteer work at Trinity Clearwater. Here are some of the opportunities we have available:

  • Helping schoolchildren in need – Whether it’s children in need of clothes, school supplies, or some one-on-one tutoring, a Trinity volunteer can help. We’re involved in an ongoing partnership with Skycrest Elementary School that has attracted recognition as a Pinellas Education Foundation Partner of the Year. We also operate a clothes closet that supplies free outfits to schoolchildren across Pinellas County.
  • Targeting food insecurity – Among the most rewarding volunteer programs at Trinity is the opportunity to join others in providing a hot breakfast to homeless people in our community. We also provide food donations and financial support to the RCS Food Bank.
  • Providing comfort for children in distress – Our Sewing Hope volunteers make blankets that are given to children who are placed in the foster care system to ease their transition to new homes.
