Community Partners Help Trinity Presbyterian Spread God’s Love Throughout the Clearwater, FL, Area

A church that joins with community partners to accomplish its goal of helping others in need is likely to enjoy greater success in its mission, simply because there are more hands pitching in. These partnerships also help our volunteers plug into the community around Clearwater, FL, get to know people in other organizations, and recharge their sense of purpose through meaningful group activities that benefit those less fortunate. Some of our highly valued community partners include:

• Skycrest Elementary School – Volunteers from Trinity Clearwater provide classroom support to teachers at this school, as well as donations of school supplies and money for field trips. Our efforts have been recognized by the Pinellas Education Foundation through its Elementary Business Partner of the Year award.
• Pinellas Hope – Volunteers from our church join with others interested in helping the homeless in our community by participating in a twice-monthly feeding program.
• RCS Food Bank – Our church has provided longstanding support through donations to this organization that assists families struggling with food insecurity.

It’s also important to recognize our global community partners at Shalom Orphanage in the African country of Tanzania. Children in Tanzania are orphaned at a staggering rate due to abandonment by their families or because their parents fall victim to disease. Trinity Clearwater has provided financial support for the children’s education and for clean water, as well as to send a mission team to provide dental work.
